Enjoy closing day of Keeneland's '25 Spring Meet. 10 races to enjoy! See you all back in October for the '25 Keeneland Fall Meet!

1st Race

3-6-5

#3 Day Dawning is put in a situation to succeed here today showing up for a $20,000 climbing price after just picking up her first victory about a month and a half ago in a maiden $50,000 claiming event at Santa Anita. I like the aggressive placement by Trainer, Jonathon Thomas, and I think it adds up to a victory here in the opener on closing day of the spring meet at Keeneland.

2nd Race

8-11-2

#8 Ganymede is trained by Wesley Ward, who has five wins in two year-old races. This meet alone at Keeneland. She spent time down in Florida which which to me suggests that Wesley Ward has worked her on the turf course as she'll be running on the turf here today and that experience and I would imagine positive experience is why she's running on turf for her debut.

3rd Race

2-6-7

#2 Scythia debuts in a maiden claiming event for Trainer, Rusty Arnold who wins 17% of the time when he debut a horse in a maiden claimer. I don't see a huge threat from a lot of these other runners and I'm looking for a fresh face here in race number three.

4th Race

7-1-5

#7 Uncashed takes a huge drop down in class here this afternoon for trainer Larry Rivelli, who will be aggressive when he shows up here to Keeneland and often times you need to be in placing your horses. I think he's a stand out based on the level of competition that he's kept over the course of his career having 16 races from 13 starts. He's the right one in this group so long he brings a B type effort in comparison to his overall form.

5th Race

1-12-8

#1 Deep Satin has it run in seven months but the last time that we saw her she won the Virginia Oaks at Colonial in September. She's yet to run a bad race and Cherie DeVaux has gotten plenty of work into her on this comeback trail for her four-year-old debut keep in mind. This race does start the three dollar Keeneland turf pick three as well as the one dollar pick six on closing day at Keeneland.

6th Race

8-5-1

#8 Come as You Are comes in this race off of a career best performance while facing winners down at Gulfstream Park at the seven furlong distance and gets even more ground to work with here today going to be about 7 furlongs, which is close to 7 1/2 furlongs. The at a distance should really help this runner today in my opinion to close and pull off the victory.

7th Race

7-3-4

#7 Life’s Reward is a full brother to 4x Grade 1 winner, Life is Good, who’s biggest achievement came with a victory in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. Expectations are always going to be high with horses with pedigrees like this and it looks like based on the competition he's facing off against. He found himself in a reasonable spot to get his career going here today for trainer Brad Cox this also starts the final pick four opportunity of the meet at Keeneland.

8th Race

7-3-2

#7 Eternal Silence gets to go a mile and a half for the first time in her career and I think that that will be something that she can capitalize on. She's had to run a bad race since arriving from Ireland here to the United States and I'm leaning more on the distance for this runner than anything in today's featured event, which will start the final pick three of the meet at Keeneland.

9th Race

1-3-9

#1 Unmatched Wisdom hasn't run in seven months, but he comes out of back-to-back grade one tries in the summer and fall of last year. He started off his career with three consecutive wins, including a stakes win in the Curlin Stakes at Saratoga last July. This is a good spot to get his four year old season underway and if he's remotely close to any of his previous five races, he will be extremely tough to beat here to start the late daily double.

10th Race

7-11-1

#7 Tickled Quist ran second to a horse named, English Chunnel, who was a winner here at Keeneland on the Saturday card in impressive fashion. Leaning on that live race angle to hopefully translate to a victory here in the final race of the meet at Keeneland in the spring. See you all back in the Fall!!
