Amerman Racing Stables’ Test Score delivered trainer Graham Motion his 40th Keeneland stakes victory Monday with his 1¼-length triumph in the Transylvania (G3) Presented by Keeneland Select.

Motion missed the milestone moment because he was returning to the U.S. from Dubai, but he is expected to be here Friday when Trikari runs in the Maker’s Mark Mile (G1) for the same owners.

Trikari won the American Turf (G2) last year on Kentucky Derby Day. That race, now a Grade 1 event worth $1 million, might be the next stop for Test Score.

“It is possible,” Motion assistant Anne Sinchak said Tuesday morning. “He is really coming into his own.”
