Be Your Best (IRE) and Sacred Wish, who finished 1-2 in the TAA Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Invitational (G2) Presented by SirDavis American Whisky, headline a field of nine entered Saturday for the 37th running of the $650,000 Jenny Wiley (G1) for fillies and mares going 
1 1/16 miles on the grass.

The Jenny Wiley will go as the 10th race on Saturday, April 12  with a 5:48 p.m. post time. First post is 1 p.m.

Riding a three-race win streak, Michael Ryan’s Be Your Best prevailed by a neck over Sacred Wish in the Jan. 25 race at Gulfstream Park. Saffie Joseph Jr. trains Be Your Best, who will be ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr. from post 5. Ortiz won the 2023 Jenny Wiley on In Italian (GB).

Black Type Thoroughbreds, Swinbank Stables, Steve Adkisson, Christopher Dunn and Anthony Spinazzola’s Sacred Wish is the lone Grade 1 winner in the field. Victorious in the Matriarch (G1) last fall at Del Mar, Sacred Wish is trained by George Weaver and will be ridden by John Velazquez from post 8. Velazquez won the 2018 Jenny Wiley on Sistercharlie (IRE).

Trainer Chad Brown, who has saddled the winner of the past three runnings of the Jenny Wiley and six of the past seven, will be represented by Resolute Racing’s Excellent Truth (IRE). Group 1-placed last summer in France, Excellent Truth will be making her U.S. debut and will be ridden by Flavien Prat from post 1.

Two other runners will be making their U.S. debuts: Rabbah Bloodstock’s Choisya (GB), a two-time Group 2 winner for trainer Simon Crisford, and Godolphin’s Jabaara (IRE) for trainer Roger Varian.
